Improving the protection of the entrance door with high-security locking solutions is an essential step in safeguarding homes and businesses.
In the case of wooden doors with rim locks installed on the inside of the door, the possible solutions seem to be few, especially in the case of historic buildings, and not always with the necessary level of security.
This is why at Mottura we have come up with some solutions to allow you to upgrade the security of your wooden door without completely changing its structure.
Series 38 rim locks
The Series 38 rim locks raise the security standards of Mottura's historic Series 30 with the inclusion of the Euro-profile cylinder.
It is protected by a patented protection system that blocks the lock in the event of an attempt to extract the cylinder when the deadbolts are out and the door is closed.
It is available with or without latch, to suit all needs, and in different versions for all security levels:
- side locking system
- three-point locking system (side locking + 2 lower and upper locking rods)
- five-point locking system (side locking + 2 lower and upper locking rods + rear switchlock device with 2 additional rods)

Install a high security CHAMPIONS® cylinder

Use a high security Euro-profile cylinder on your lock, such as Mottura CHAMPIONS®.
Choose a model with anti-picking (anti-burglary) and anti-bumping systems, with keys with anti-tracing protection to prevent copying by ‘tracing’ or ‘imprinting’ and with controlled duplication, reproducible only in Mottura or in Mottura Clubs by means of a ownership card.
